Jerome
Francis "Jerry" Mobley, 78, died Friday, September 22, 2017. He was
born October 16, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Clarence and Mary
Anne (Adams) Mobley. Jerry graduated from Saint Meinrad Minor Seminary where he
was an Oblate of the Order of St. Benedict before studying at Marian
University. He taught and coached at St. Lawrence Catholic School for several
years and then moved on to Ford Motor Company where he was a member of UAW
Local 1111 before retiring after 32 years of service. As a child, he and his
sister were a headlining tap dancing act for USO programs during WWII. He later
would become more interested in golfing and painting, especially landscapes. He
was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and never lost his

and cared for so well will miss him dearly.
