Fr. Bertrand Rapp

Reverend Bertrand J. Rapp, 81, of Louisville, passed away at University Hospital. He served as associate pastor at St. Thomas More from 1950-61 and St. Ann from 1961-64. He served as pastor at Christ the King from 1968-76, St. Bernard from 1976-86 and St. Brigid in Vine Grove, KY from 1986 until his retirement in 1996, after which he moved to St. Bartholomew, where he served as Senior Associate. He was founding chairman of the Family Relations Center, Volunteer director of Pre-Cana from 1959-79, founding director of Our Lady of Fatima Rosary Makers from 1950-1970 and founding chairman of Clergy Health Panel. Fr. Rapp is preceded in death by his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his sister in-law, Louise Rapp; and many nephews and nieces.
