Donald Weber

Donald F. Weber, 87, of Defiance, Ohio, passed away at Brookdale Nursing Care Center in Portage, Michigan. Donald was born in Defiance county on March 8, 1922, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Helen S. (Goller) Weber. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Defiance, and was a CCD teacher for 5 years. Don married Mary P. Gallup in 1954, who died September 8, 2000 . He married Jean Maguire in 1947, who died in 1952. He was employed as a computer operator at Dinner Bell Foods for 27 years, retiring in 1985. He was a Defiance College graduate. Surviving are two sons: David (Linda) Weber of Tinley Park, Illinois and Laurence (Charlotte) Weber MD of Kalamazoo, Michigan; five brothers: Dr. Norbert (Mary) Weber of Palos Park, IL, Francis Weber of Ayersville, Christian (Ann) Weber of Elkhart, IN, Roger (Ann) Weber of Maumee, and Eugene (Marilyn) Weber of Findlay. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilfred "Bill" and Gerald Weber: and a sister, Marjorie Steingass.
