Timothy Meszar

Timothy J. Meszar, 59, died at Mercy Jeannette Hospital.Born Aug. 27, 1947, in Pittsburgh, he was a retired sales manager with 34 years of service at Procter and Gamble. Mr. Meszar was a member of St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon where he served as a cantor. A graduate of Duquesne University, he was a member of the Mendelssohn Choir for the Pittsburgh Opera. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. A sports fan, he not only followed the Penquins and the Steelers, but he also enjoy golfing and cooking.Surviving are his wife, Barbara (Adams) Meszar; sons, Timothy of Jeannette and Scott Meszar of North Huntingdon; a granddaughter, Ashley Meszar; one brother, Henry Meszar; and sisters, Frances Petroff, Regina Scandrol and Michele Walker.He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Angeline (Mastrilli) Meszar.Published in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette 2/20/2007
