Michael C. Tetlow

Michael Craig Tetlow, 49, passed away in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Michael was born May 8, 1962, in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Michael received his secondary education at Bishop Kenny High School and went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree at St. Meinrad's College in St. Meinrad, Indiana. Michael had a great love and passion for teaching especially social studies, religion and history. Michael touched the lives of many, first at St. Paul's Catholic School on Park Street in Jacksonville, Florida, and then at St. Paul's Catholic School in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. His interactive and inventive teaching style was loved by many. How blessed we feel as a family to have been able to share our lives with such a loving, caring, and spiritual man. Michael is preceded in death by his father John Edward Tetlow. Michael is survived by his beloved mother, Hilda Tetlow, his beloved sister and brothers Bernadette, Fr. John and Paul, and his beloved niece Erin. Michael is survived by his former spouse, Maria Garcia Tetlow and two beloved stepdaughters, Angie and Julie. There will be visitation on Thursday, November 10th from 6:30-8pm at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach. There will be a mass of Christian burial on Friday, November 11th at 11am at St. Paul's Catholic Church, followed by his interment at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Mandarin.Take from the Florida Times-Union
