O '73, of Henryville, IN died on Monday, October 26, 2009

Paul Howard Hayes, 62, of Henryville, died at Clark Memorial Hospital, Jeffersonville.

He was born Feb. 22, 1947, in Sunfish, KY. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Henryville, was a retired supervisor for Owens Illinois Plastic Company in Vandalia, IL, and he served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Betty Lou Pullen Hayes, whom he married in 1982; daughter, Connie Mull and her husband, Craig, of Henryville; son, Tony and his wife, Dawn Lewis, of Jeffersonville; sisters, Theresa Weyer, of Ferdinand, Lucy Cullins, of Salem, Angie Cullins, of Pekin, Helen Reynolds, of Crothersville, Lucille Warren, of Clarksville and Lois Bridges, of Crothersville; brothers, Father Maurice Hayes, of Mt. St. Francis, Tom Hayes, of Cloverport, KY. and Pat Hayes, of Scottsburg; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard Hayes and Ruth French Hayes; brothers, Tony and Pius Hayes; and sisters, Ethel Justice and Charlene Olivastro.
