Fr. John Haberthier
O '48, of Diocese of Dodge City, KS died on Monday, December 28, 2009

The Reverend John Haberthier, 87, died at Cherry Village Nursing Home, Great Bend.

He was born Aug. 22, 1922, in Wichita, to John R. and Ruby Schroth Haberthier. He had formerly served as a Catholic priest in California and in the Dodge City Diocese. He enjoyed playing cards, the piano, and above all took great satisfaction in helping others.

Survivors include: guardian and friend, Leo Herrman and wife Vicki, La Crosse. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty.
