The Academic Year began on Tuesday-classes met for the first
time, and the seminary community celebrated a special Evening
Prayer, at which the faculty received a special blessing.
Archabbot Justin announced two appointments during the week. In
addition to assuming teaching and faculty responsibilities next
semester, Father Thomas will now serve as Associate Monastery
Vocation Director and, additionally, serve on the Monastery
Liturgical Advisory Committee. Our newly professed junior, Brother
André, was appointed as Master of Ceremonies II.
We helped Archabbot Bonaventure celebrate his 96th
birthday on Saturday! He has a regular place at the abbot's table
in our refectory, of course, but a special cake and
colloquium added a special note to the day. Ad multos
annos, Archabbot Bonaventure!

Week of September 28
Father Eugene was our Mass Heb for the 26th Sunday and Week in Ordinary

See you in October!
