Archbishop Daniel Buechlein  attended a blessing of two new additions at the Bishop Simon Brut√© College Seminary in Indianapolis on October 21. One of them is a dining room and meeting space, which has been dedicated to Archbishop Daniel in gratitude for his founding and support of the seminary. Fr. Denis Robinson and Fr. Tobias Colgan also attended.

Archabbot Justin DuVall offered a pre-Advent Day of Recollection for priests of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis at the Fatima Retreat House in Indianapolis on November 19.

Fr. Guerric DeBona and Dr. Richard Stern attended the National Academy of Homiletics in Louisville, KY, on December 5-7. The topic was on "difficult conversations" with texts.

Fr. Brendan Moss gave the annual Barth-Hamilton Retreat at Saint Meinrad December 6-8. The retreat focused on "Becoming Men of the New Evangelization."

Fr. Guerric DeBona's book, titled Between the Ambo and the Altar: Biblical Preaching and the Roman Missal (Year A), was released in December. It was published by the Liturgical Press. Books on Years B and C will follow.

Br. Francis Wagner signed copies of his new book, titled Grace in the Wilderness: Reflections on God's Sustaining Word Along Life's Journey, on November 30 at the Catholic Supply Stores in St. Louis, MO.

Br. John Mark Falkenhain and Archabbot Justin DuVall participated in a national meeting sponsored by the National Religious Vocations Conference (NRVC) on December 9-11. The meeting was hosted by Saint Meinrad Archabbey and brought together the vocation directors and major superiors of about 35 religious communities across the United States. The theme of the meeting was "Building an Internal Culture of Vocations."

Fr. Edward Linton is enjoying his travels while on sabbatical. He has visited numerous places, including: Nazareth, Capernaum, Istanbul, Chalcedon, Armenia and Tblisi. He is now staying at Dormition Abbey in Jerusalem, where he will remain until after Christmas.
