Meinrad Permanent Deacon Formation Program, Formation Dean in the
Seminary, Instructor in Latin

Prior Work/Life Experience: I was 17
years old when I came to Saint Meinrad College right out of high
school, so I've grown up here. My work/assignments since
entering the monastery have included things I would never have
imagined…driving the mail/delivery truck, apprentice in the wine
cellar, being secretary to the abbot, administrator of the
Cathedral in Indianapolis, just to name a few. I've always had
(and continue to have) many irons in many fires.
Education History:
- BA (Classics), Saint Meinrad College, 1982
- MDiv, Saint Meinrad School of Theology, 1988
- MSA, (Nonprofit Administration)UniversityofNotreDame, 1994
Other Interests: Cooking, languages.
What Attracted Me to Monastic Life: There
were a lot of things, ranging from the silly to the sublime.
More than anything, a sense that this is where God wants me.
