Each side of the altar has 17 gilded bronze panels that illustrate a theme based on Christ's life: teacher, Eucharist, Passion and Resurrection, and major events and mysteries.
Blessed Sacrament Chapel
The chapel behind the organ pipes offers a place for private prayer and meditation. The tabernacle and its tower were fashioned from the altar used in the Church from 1909 to 1968.
Choir Stalls
Choir stalls are the chairs for the monks. They are made of white oak and number 82, with 19 additional pull-down seats. A crosier, or staff, marks the abbot's chair.
Ambo
The lectern for Scripture readings features nine bronze panels depicting holy men and women whose writings are read during Vigils.
Shrine of Our Lady of Einsiedeln
The Black Madonna statue was a gift from Saint Meinrad's mother abbey, Maria Einsiedeln in Switzerland, in 1954.
St. Meinrad Shrine
Hand-painted scenes on a wooden triptych show events from this martyr saint's life. Inside the base is a listing of all benefactors to Saint Meinrad.
Shrine of All Saints
This shrine contains the Saint Meinrad's collection of saints' relics and a listing of all deceased monks of Saint Meinrad.

Paschal Candle Column
Each of the seven rings in this bronze stand is devoted to women through the ages who have witnessed God's power and grace.
Organ
Framing the Christus, the organ showcases flamed copper facade pipes in a white oak casing. There are 3,844 pipes, grouped into 70 ranks forming 55 stops.
Font
Biblical water scenes adorn the bowl of holy water: Noah's Ark, Jesus' baptism, Moses at the Red Sea, and Jonah with the fish that swallowed him.
Presider's Chair
After an absence of nearly 30 years, the restored and refinished Presider's Chair was returned to the Church in 1997. It was originally carved around 1909.
