Dr. Ryan LaMothe

Dr. Ryan LaMothe is professor of pastoral care
and counseling at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of
Theology. A graduate of West Point, Dr. LaMothe earned an MDiv
from the University of Notre Dame, and an MA and PhD from
Vanderbilt University.
Dr. LaMothe is a fellow in AAPC and a diplomate in the
American Psychotherapy Association. He has written more than
100 publications and three books in the areas of psychoanalysis and
pastoral care and counseling.
He is editor of Sacred Spaces: The e-journal of the
American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and he serves on the
editorial review boards for the journal Pastoral
Psychology and the Journal of Pastoral Theology.
