Fr. Rob Rottgers

Fr. Rob Rottgers is a priest of the Diocese of Covington, ordained in 2009. Baptized in the Episcopal Church, Fr. Rottgers came into full communion in 1996. He earned his BA in philosophy from the Pontifical College Josephinum and his MDiv from Mundelein Seminary.

Fr. Rottgers worked in the material handling industry for several years. A widower, he was married for 15 years until his wife's death in 2001. He has an adult stepson and four grandchildren.

Following his ordination in 2009, Fr. Rottgers served as parochial vicar at St. Catherine Parish in Fort Thomas, KY, before being appointed pastor of St. Philip Parish in Melbourne, where he is currently assigned. He is the chaplain for Bishop Brossart High School and serves on the Board of Directors of Carenet Pregnancy Centers and on the Diocesan Youth Advisory Board.
