Applications are now being accepted for the Young Adult Initiative!

"One-fifth of the U.S. public - and a third of adults under 30 - are religiously unaffiliated today."

- "Nones" on the Rise, Pew Research Center, 2012

Helping parishes connect with young adults is the goal of the Saint Meinrad Young Adult Initiative. A program of Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology and funded by a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment Inc., this five-year project will select 12-15 partner parishes to assist them in developing innovative programs and ministries to meet the spiritual needs of adults ages 23-29. A key objective will be to strengthen the domestic church of young adult households.

We encourage your parish to apply to be a partner parish. First, carefully read the project's Frequently Asked Questions. Then, if your parish is willing to make the commitment, start the application process. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017.
