"One-fifth of the U.S. public - and a third of adults under 30 - are religiously unaffiliated today."

- "Nones" on the Rise, Pew Research Center, 2012

Helping parishes connect with young adults is the goal of the Saint Meinrad Young Adult Initiative. The Initiative is a program of Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology and is funded by a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment Inc.

The five-year project will work with 16 partner parishes to assist them in developing innovative programs and ministries to meet the spiritual needs of adults ages 23-29. A key objective will be to strengthen the domestic church of young adult households.
