Effective Pastoring Workshops

The Institute for Priests and Presbyterate's "Effective Pastoring Workshops" engage the ongoing formation needs of priests throughout the lifespan of their ministry.

The Associate Pastor workshop helps newly ordained priests make a seamless transition into parish ministry.

Gearing Up to be a Pastor workshop, typically undertaken during the second year following ordination, starts the preparation for becoming a pastor, addressing the "big picture" issues of being a pastor.

The Newly Appointed Pastor workshop addresses universal administrative issues facing first-time pastors:  topics of canonical, legal, and personnel issues, parish administration, finances and budgeting.

The Gardner Renewal Days for the Seasoned Pastor are two- and three-day workshops designed for those who have served as pastors for a number of years to address topics more pertinent to their stage of ministry. More information coming soon.
