Our Campus

Saint Meinrad Archabbey, Seminary and School of Theology are situated high on a hill overlooking the town of St. Meinrad in the rolling rural farmland and forests of southern Indiana. Saint Meinrad is located about midway between Louisville, KY and Evansville, IN along Interstate 64 Most of the Archabbey and school buildings are constructed of sandstone, which was quarried locally, and are Romanesque in style.

Saint Meinrad's grounds offer relaxing and peaceful surroundings. The vast and well-kept campus includes several lakes, hiking trails, outdoor shrines, recreational facilities and nearby farms and forests.

Thousands of men and women come to our campus every year to be renewed in mind and spirit by dwelling, even if only for a short time, in our beautiful contemplative environment. The scenic surroundings are a touchstone of peace that feeds their lives, their prayer and their service to the Church.
