Month In Pictures: March 2014

Many of the photographs from March show service: service to the Church and service to others. The first annual Saint Meinrad Alumni Day of Service was held in March, but many of the photos show people in service on a regular old Wednesday or Saturday. For many Christians, service is embedded in them. They want to do good work and help other people because that is what God calls us to do.

Other photos this month show faith, and also fun. The March pictures came from the oblate retreat, Feast Day of St. Benedict, a student talent show during a Mardi Gras celebration, The Gospel According to Bluegrass class, deacon and priesthood promises, ministry assignments at St. Boniface Parish in Fulda, IN, and the Day of Service.

They were taken by me and Charles Peñalosa.
