Thousands of pictures are taken at Saint Meinrad every year, and
narrowing those down to the best, most storytelling images, is
quite the task. This year perhaps was the hardest yet!
While sifting through pictures, we look for composition, light
and moment. We try to hit every major event that took place on the
Hill and include a photo from every season.
It is easy to make pictures at major events. People are excited,
there is a lot of emotion, and it's something new and different to
photograph. Sitting here looking at the 2014 Year in Pictures, what
surprised me was that some of my favorites were taken during
normal, everyday life. Those are the pictures that really tell the
story of Saint Meinrad.
I hope you enjoy this slideshow of pictures taken throughout the
year by Novice Charles Peñalosa, Br. William Sprauer, OSB,
seminarian Minh Vu and myself.
