  • Fr. Anselm Russell graduated from Loyola University in Chicago with a nurse practitioner’s degree on May 15.

  • Fr. Columba Kelly conducted a chant program at the University of St. Thomas, Houston, TX, in February.

  • Fr. Cyprian Davis attended the Catholic Cultural Diversity Network Convention held at the University of Notre Dame from May 6-8.

  • Fr. Denis Robinson had an essay published in the book The Liturgical Subject: Subject, Subjectivity and the Human Person on Contemporary Liturgical Discussion and Critique

  • Br. Francis Wagner had an article titled “Mary, Our Lady of Silence” published in the May 2010 issue of The Priest magazine.

  • Fr. Julian Peters will study Spanish this summer at the Mexican American Cultural Center in San Antonio, TX.

  • Archabbot Justin DuVall attended the annual meeting of Indiana Bishops and Major Superiors in Indianapolis on March 1. He gave a retreat to Saint Meinrad seminarians from March 23-27.

  • Br. Matthew Mattingly will be developing an outreach to Saint Meinrad co-workers to convey and promote Benedictine charism and values. He continues to work in the monastery vocations office.

  • Fr. Timothy Sweeney was at Blue Cloud Abbey, Marvin, SD, from May 7 through July 7. He offered them counsel about future possibilities for their community.

  • Fr. Prior Tobias Colgan attended the abbatial blessing of Abbot Gregory Duerr, Mount Angel Abbey, St. Benedict, OR, on Feburary 26. He gave a music workshop to the Missionary Benedictine Sisters in Norfolk, NE, in April.

  • Br. Zachary Wilberding received a lay Master of Divinity degree from Aquinas Institute of Theology, St. Louis, MO, in May.
