Pilgrimages
As the months of May and October are especially devoted to the Blessed Mother, pilgrimages to Monte Cassino Shrine are held each Sunday during those months.

The pilgrimage begins with an opening hymn and a short sermon, followed by a rosary procession. The service, about an hour long, ends with the Litany of the Blessed Virgin and a hymn.

Pilgrimages start at 2 p.m. Central Time. The shrine is located in St. Meinrad, IN, one mile east of Saint Meinrad Archabbey along Indiana 62.

Speakers and topics for the October pilgrimages are:

  •  October 2— Fr. Bede Cisco, OSB
    “Mary the Receptive Missionary”

  •  October 9— Fr. Timothy Sweeney, OSB
    “Mary, Woman of the Mystery”

  •  October 16— Fr. Noël Mueller, OSB
    “Mary the Peacemaker”

  •  October 23— Fr. Germain Swisshelm, OSB
“The Rosary – Album of Our Lady’s Memories”

  •  October 30— Fr. Jeremy King, OSB
    “Mary, Queen of All Saints”
