Student Services
Room Board and Facilities
Three residence halls currently provide for student housing. St. Gregory Hall, Benet Hall and St. Anselm Hall have private rooms with baths. Returning students can select their rooms through a student-run lottery in the spring of each academic year. Students may furnish and decorate their rooms in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Student Handbook.
During the school year, meals are served three times a day, seven days a week. The dining room is closed during Christmas and Easter vacations. During this time, students on campus can purchase meals through the Archabbey Food Service.
Computer/Networking Access
All students are provided with network and e-mail accounts. Access to the internet is through the campus network. Network access is available through direct hookups in student rooms. Computers, printers and network access are also available in student productivity centers (located in the student housing areas) and in the Archabbey Library. Wireless access is available in the Jack’s in the Commons coffee shop, connecting courtyards and the library. For more information contact the Office of Informational and Instructional Technology.
Recreation and Athletics
Saint Meinrad highly recommends and encourages students to balance their lives with leisure and exercise. Saint Meinrad’s wellness director and student volunteers oversee intramural sports programs. A gymnasium provides areas for basketball and volleyball, weightlifting and exercise equipment.
Outdoor facilities include tennis and racquetball courts, lakes for fishing, and paths and rural roads for walking, running and biking. National and state parks for hiking, swimming and camping are nearby.
Concerts, performances and lectures are scheduled throughout the year at Saint Meinrad. The UnStable, a student-operated pub on campus, provides a place for students and guests to relax and enjoy camaraderie during fall and spring semesters. Students who present a student identification card receive discounted prices at the UnStable.
