Going Forth is a three-day extension program of the Parish Catechetical Leadership Institute (PCLI). Parish catechetical leaders who completed the PCLI at Saint Meinrad are invited to continue exploring different facets of catechetical ministry. Going Forth offers a place and space for continuing formation and lifelong learning for catechetical leaders, the fruits of which will benefit their parish communities.
Going Forth focuses on a different theme each year, with presentations in the morning and self-directed group work in the afternoons. You will join the monastic community for prayer and the PCLI attendees for meals and social activities. Your group will create and lead the closing prayer service for PCLI attendees on Thursday afternoon.
It takes place at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, concurrent with the yearly Institute. Participants arrive at noon on Monday and leave on Thursday afternoon.
