Monte Cassino pilgrimages canceled for October

Wednesday, September 16, 2020

Saint Meinrad Archabbey’s pilgrimages to honor the Blessed Mother at the Monte Cassino Shrine, typically held each Sunday in October, have been canceled due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Instead, each week during October, a different monk will post a video of his Marian talk. You can find them at: www.saintmeinrad.org/live. Each Sunday at 2 p.m. Central Time, a new talk will be posted.

Speakers and their topics are:

  • October 4 – Fr. Joseph Cox, OSB – “Mary, Mother of Life”
  • October 11 – Br. Maurus Zoeller, OSB – “Marian Shrines and Pilgrimages”
  • October 18 – Nov. Benjamin Ziegler, OSB – “Through the Eyes of Mary”
  • October 25 – Br. Stanley Rother Wagner, OSB – “Here are My Mother and My Brothers: Monastic Devotion to Mary for the 21st Century”
