Book signing planned for prayer book author

Saint Meinrad Archabbey Gift Shop and Scholar Shop will host a book signing on Saturday, August 25.
Author Agnes Kovacs will be signing copies of her book, A Prayer Book for Catholic Women, at both locations. The Scholar Shop signing will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The Gift Shop signing will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. All times are Central.
The prayer book is a guide for women of all ages who want to deepen their personal relationship with the Lord. The selections bring together favorite traditional prayers of the Catholic Church with original prayers that will provide inspiration and strength. Organized around the seasons of a woman’s life and her spiritual journey, the hardcover book features a ribbon marker.
Kovacs, a native of Hungary, has lived in the United States for 30 years. She currently serves as director of continuing formation at Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology.
The 178-page book was published by The Word Among Us Press and costs $14.95.
The Gift Shop is located along Indiana 545 in St. Meinrad, IN, and the Scholar Shop is located on the Saint Meinrad Archabbey campus, on the first floor of Newman Hall.
