Saint Meinrad Seminary & School of Theology

Formation and Education for the Life of the Church

Month in Pictures: August 2013

by Jim Paquette

This month, two novices transitioned to junior monks after professing temporary vows before the community, and the monastery welcomed a new novice; Archabbot Justin presided over Mass for the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, and seminarians from around the country made their way to the Hill for the start of a new school year.

These celebrations and new beginnings are a powerful reminder to me of the work of the Holy Spirit. It is through that work that He stirs within our hearts the desire to serve God through our vocation and joyfully remember God's plan of salvation.
