Month In Pictures: February 2018

by Krista Hall

Prayer, faith, life, death, beauty and fun - these are a few words that come to mind when I look at our month in pictures. I have a feeling that if I looked back through our photo archives, I could find photos that represent those same words for every month.

This post opens with two pictures from the funeral services for Archbishop Daniel Buechlein, OSB. The first photo was taken at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Indianapolis and the second is of Br. Kim Malloy, OSB, after he covered the casket with the funeral pall. This post closes with a picture of the super moon behind the Archabbey Church.

In between those three pictures are images from the Institute for Priests and Presbyterates' Associate Pastor workshop, the international seminarian outing to the Carmelite Monastery in Terre Haute, the seminary's ministry installation and the parade during a Mardi Gras party.

It doesn't matter the season or the year, Saint Meinrad will always be a place of faith and prayer, life and death, beauty and fun. I hope that always shows through in our pictures.

Deacon Minh Vu, Corey Bruns and Krista Hall took the pictures in this month's post.
