Institute for Priests and Presbyterates
Individually Scheduled Programs
Some of the Institute's programs, including those for presbyteral unity, mentor training, accent acquisition and diocesan workshops for international priests, are scheduled individually.
The Program for Priestly Formation notes that a seminary "may invite newly and recently ordained (priests) back to reflect on their experience of transition and to engage in mystagogical catechesis that focuses on the rite of ordination and subsequent experiences of ministry" (PPF#370). Designed for the recently ordained priest, the Associate Pastor Workshop offers a chance to reflect on the first few months of priestly life and ministry.
Participants will engage in continuing formation with the goal of beginning to integrate priestly formation and spirituality into their sacramental configuration to Christ the High Priest. This workshop offers opportunities for formation, reflection, individual and communal prayer in the beautiful setting of Saint Meinrad Archabbey and Seminary. The workshop begins the evening of Monday, February 6, 2023, and ends the evening of Friday, February 10.
Accommodations, meals, program fees and materials from February 5-9, 2024: $900 per attendee.
