Are IPP programs only for diocesan priests or can religious participate too?
By all means, priests belonging to religious orders or societies of apostolic life are welcome to take advantage of the IPP and its programs.
Is the IPP just for Saint Meinrad alumni?
Not at all! One of the things that enriches our programs is having participants with varied experiences of formation and ministry.
Is the IPP just for Roman Catholic priests?
Yes. Our programs (content and dynamics) are specifically geared to supporting Roman Catholic priests in the different phases of their ministry.
What about costs and financing?
Some priests have an annual allowance (from their diocese, community or parish) for ongoing formation and education. Some use their allowance and supplement it with personal funds. Others are “private pay.” Through endowments that help support the IPP, we also have a few opportunities for financial aid for some of our programming.
