The Children’s Revival of Participation at Sunday Mass is a new project of Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. The project aims to increase the capacity of parishes to incorporate children’s leadership and children’s ways of worship into their regular Sunday Masses. Parishes thrive and families grow in faith when children are seen, heard, and valued in the community’s central act of corporate worship.
To pilot concrete efforts, Saint Meinrad seeks ten to fifteen partner parishes eager to model intergenerational participation and make Sunday Mass the source and summit of all activities that nurture the faith of children. Parishes will plan and implement their first Children’s Revival efforts in 2024, just as the National Eucharistic Revival is moving from its Year of Parish Revival to a Year of Mission.
For more information on becoming a partner parish, please read our Frequently Asked Questions or email us. Parishes that wish to be considered for partnership should complete the online application. Project staff have begun reviewing applications. We will continue accepting new parish applications through December 8, 2023.
