Fr. Kolbe Wolniakowski, OSB, and Erinn Evans, former director of alumni relations, kick off the sixth season of Echoes from the Bell Tower. This season you will hear stories from monks, students, alumni, and friends through interviews conducted by Fr. Kolbe, Erinn Evans, and Krista Hall.
The new season of Echoes from the Bell Tower is structured differently from previous seasons, with more one-on-one, raw interviews with those connected to Saint Meinrad.
In episode one, Fr. Kolbe and Erinn speak with each other, introducing Erinn’s story as a new co-worker at Saint Meinrad. We also hear an update on Fr. Kolbe and his new role in the monastery.
Erinn Evans started working as the director of alumni relations in April 2024. She made history here at Saint Meinrad by being the first woman to fill that role. She previously worked at Owensboro Health and wanted a job that would allow her to spend more time with her family but also help her grow in her faith. Since recording the interviews for this season, Erinn has started a new job that works well with her kids’ school schedule and allows for more family time. Although we miss her, we wish her all the best.
Since season five, Fr. Kolbe was ordained a priest in 2022. He spent two years as an associate pastor in Tell City at St. Paul and St. Mark Parishes. He also spent that time as the spiritual director for the propaedeutic students at Saint Meinrad and continues to fill that role. In July of 2024, Fr. Kolbe was asked to take the role of subprior, third in leadership, in the monastery as well as sacristan.
