"We had mom's night out on August 22 at my house. We ended up changing it to young adult women's night out so that women who weren't moms could also come. There were about nine of us that evening, and it was absolutely wonderful. We have been getting together every Thursday evening for our study, but this time was set aside for just fellowship. Everyone ended up staying later in the evening – well past the end time, which was such a gift. We got to know each other better and told a lot of stories. Laughter was overflowing in my backyard. The common theme that kept getting shared was how each of us in our individual prayer have prayed for more female friendships. We all shared how much of a blessing this time together has been. You know how you do things with people from Church or participate in the same things at Church? Of course that is still meaningful but sometimes it feels like you don't actually get to know others. This evening felt different from that - like we crossed the threshold from just being women doing the same things together and actually blossomed into intentional friendships with one another. All glory to God for orchestrating this so intentionally and beautifully!"

"We recently had our 4th annual Young Adult Sports Night, and we hosted around 30 people! I really loved the event because it was one I actually got to participate in, which helped me connect with so many people, both that I had met before and that I had not. God's joy is found in the simple things, and it was certainly present as we all played four-square, basketball, ultimate frisbee and so on!"
