The World Church Program combines cultural immersion experiences with formal lectures and seminars, alongside opportunities for liturgy, prayer and community.
Join laity, religious, permanent deacons and priests on a journey to learn more about the global Church.
Our daily walking tours include the many churches and museums that dot the great city. There are tours to “meet the saints” of the Left Bank and explore its back alleys. We will visit the most famous museums in the world, including the Louvre, the Orsay museum of French impressionists and lesser-known spots like the Musee de Cluny, housed in the former mansion of the abbots of Cluny.
Some sights off the beaten path include the Cathedral of St. Denis, the first gothic church in the world and the burial place of the French kings and queens. We will visit the great Cathedral of Chartres and its magnificent, recently restored stained glass windows. Another day trip will take us to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, home of the last monarchs of France.
Finally, we will visit the beautiful gardens of Giverny, home of the great impressionist Claude Monet. This action-packed tour will be a trip to remember with great recommendations for restaurants and night-time strolls also offered.
